Airbus A321-231, registered RP-C9902, flies for Philippine Airlines as part of the flag carrier's fleet of A321s supporting domestic Philippine routes and short-haul regional international connections across Southeast Asia. Philippine Airlines, one of Asia's oldest continuously operating airlines, has built a substantial narrowbody fleet including A321s to serve the archipelago nation's dense domestic network connecting Manila to regional cities and islands. As part of this fleet, RP-C9902 supports Philippine Airlines' role connecting the Philippines' more than 7,000 islands to each other and to nearby Asian destinations.
