Airbus A321-231, registered B-16212, flies for EVA Air as part of the Taiwanese carrier's fleet of A321s supporting domestic Taiwanese routes and short-haul regional international connections across East Asia. EVA Air, founded in 1989 as part of the Evergreen Group, has built a substantial narrowbody fleet including A321s to complement its extensive long-haul 777 and 787 widebody operations. As part of this fleet, B-16212 supports EVA Air's role connecting Taipei and other Taiwanese cities to destinations across East and Southeast Asia.
