Airbus A319-133, registered B-6246, flies for Chongqing Airlines as part of the Chinese regional carrier's fleet of A319s supporting domestic routes from the airline's base in Chongqing, one of China's largest municipalities. Chongqing Airlines, jointly owned by China Southern Airlines and the Chongqing municipal government, operates a mixed Airbus narrowbody fleet to serve southwestern China's growing domestic aviation market. As part of this fleet, B-6246 supports Chongqing Airlines' role connecting the region to major Chinese cities within the country's expanding domestic network.
