The BAC One-Eleven was a British short-haul jet airliner operated by Channel Airways, an independent British regional carrier that served routes connecting the UK to the Channel Islands and nearby European destinations during the 1960s and early 1970s. Channel Airways built a notable fleet of One-Elevens and other British-built aircraft before the airline's financial difficulties led to its 1972 collapse. As part of Channel's historic fleet, the One-Eleven supported the carrier's short-haul network during a competitive period for independent British regional airlines before the industry's broader consolidation.

Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".

BAC One-Eleven

Designed as a turbojet-powered replacement for the Vickers Viscount, the One-Eleven (also known as the BAC-111) was developed from the Hunting Aircraft H.107 design and first flew on August 20th, 1963.
