Boeing 707-321C, registered G-ASZG, flew for British Cargo Airlines (likely a British Airways Cargo-affiliated or independent British freight operator) as part of a fleet of converted 707 freighters supporting international cargo operations. The 707 saw extensive use as a freighter conversion candidate among British cargo operators during the 1970s and 1980s, given the type's widespread availability as airlines retired their passenger 707s in favor of newer widebody aircraft. As part of this fleet, G-ASZG supported British cargo aviation during a period when converted first-generation jets played a major role in international freight.
