Boeing 727-200, registered EP-IRR, flies for Iran Air as part of the Iranian flag carrier's fleet of 727 trijets supporting domestic Iranian routes. Iran Air has maintained aging aircraft like the 727 in active service far longer than most airlines worldwide, a direct consequence of decades of international sanctions that have severely restricted the carrier's ability to acquire new aircraft, parts, and maintenance support from Western manufacturers since the 1979 revolution.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
