Sud Aviation Caravelle III, registered CN-CCZ, was operated by Royal Air Maroc during the 1960s as part of the airline's early jet fleet. The Caravelle introduced modern short and medium haul jet service from Casablanca to destinations across Europe and North Africa, including Paris, Madrid, and Algiers. Powered by Rolls Royce Avon turbojet engines mounted at the rear fuselage, the aircraft offered quieter cabin conditions and improved passenger comfort compared with earlier piston types. CN-CCZ wore Royal Air Maroc's classic red and green livery, symbolizing Morocco's national colors. The Caravelle played a key role in establishing Royal Air Maroc as a modern international carrier during the jet age.
