Boeing 707-321, registered F-BHSF, flew for Air France as part of the French flag carrier's early fleet of 707s supporting long-haul international routes connecting Paris to destinations across the Americas, Africa, and Asia, alongside sister aircraft F-BHSB and F-BHSE. Air France's early 707 fleet represented a critical modernization step for the carrier during the early 1960s before later fleet expansion with 747s and other widebody aircraft cemented Air France's position as a major global long-haul carrier.

Designed as the first American turbine-engined airliner, the 707 was first flown on July 15th, 1954.
