Fokker F27 Friendship, registered F-BPNA, flew for Air Inter, the French domestic airline that operated an extensive network of turboprop and later jet aircraft connecting cities across France before the carrier's eventual 1997 merger into Air France. Air Inter built one of Europe's most successful domestic airline networks using aircraft like the F27 to serve smaller French cities, complementing larger jets on the airline's busier trunk routes. As part of this historic fleet, F-BPNA supported Air Inter's role connecting regional French communities during the airline's decades of independent domestic operation.
Designed as a pressurized, turboprop medium-range airliner, the F27 was first flown on November 24th, 1955. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
