Fokker F27 Friendship, registered CF-QBL, flew for Quebecair as part of the Canadian regional carrier's fleet of turboprop aircraft supporting routes across the province of Quebec. Quebecair operated as one of Canada's significant regional airlines for decades, using the reliable F27 to connect smaller Quebec communities to larger cities including Montreal. As part of this historic fleet, CF-QBL supported Quebecair's role providing essential regional air service across Quebec before the airline's eventual 1986 merger into Nordair and subsequent absorption into Canadian Airlines International.
Designed as a pressurized, turboprop medium-range airliner, the F27 was first flown on November 24th, 1955. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
