The Lockheed Martin HIMARS is a light, truck mounted, multiple rocket launching system. Capable of carrying up to 6 rockets or one ATACMS missile on the bed of a U.S. Army FMTV truck, the HIMARS can fire all the munitions of its predecessor system, the M270 MLRS. A relatively new development, the HIMARS has proven itself in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Forces of Valor's 1:32 scale M142 HIMARS is constructed from many individual parts, which allows for the greatest historical accuracy and detail. The diecast metal cab features small details such as hand painted lights, radiator detail and wiper blades that can be seen through the louvered windscreen. The fully rendered cab interior can be viewed through the opening top hatch. Other movable parts include steerable front wheels and a Launcher-Loader module that can be raised from its travel position and can pivot and rotate. The six-pack of rockets with pad-printed placards is removable, and the underside features a fully-rendered exhaust system, drive train and suspension.
