Welcome to The Flying Mule's Collector Page!
The 'display' is an important piece of the collectors puzzle.
Collections come in all sizes ranging from one or very few, to a vast
array of models. We view the 'collection' is an expression of a
personal interest, set out in a 'display'. Inspirational and
motivating, photos submitted by our fellow collectors provide ideas
and generate enthusiasm for us all.
If you haven't already, this is a great time to subscribe to the
Flying Mule Newsletter. It's easy, it's informative, and there is
always a valuable promotion. The newsletter will provide instruction
so you can submit your collection photos.
Help us build "The Flying Mule's Collector Page" by sending in some
photos of your own - and who knows, your photo may be a future winner.

Contest Winner - January 2012
George, Canada
George's collection combines historic aircraft with a true
awareness of the civilization and culture that these warplanes were
sent to represent. George's collection is well thought out, includes
more than aircraft, and offers a deeper perspective. George's winning
collection is motivating and a perfect addition to our "Collections"
page.

Contest Winner - December 2011
Michael, Flordia
Michael has kindly invited us into his 'man cave' and Wow what an
extensive collection mixing various eras, global aircraft and
subjects. Although the shelves may seem a little "well-stocked", we
get the feeling that each piece is a treasure. Yes, this is certainly
a place where most any guy would want to spend some time.

Contest Winner - November 2011
Lester, California
Lester's Collection is limited only by the size of his celling. We
love this collection as many classic batttle seens are depited in the
sky above all the way from from WWI through Vietnam. The presentation
is simply wonderful. Keep up the great work Lester!

Contest Winner - October 2011
Ray, Minnesota
Ray's collection is massive, yet neatly arranged, with
airliners, and tanks, but this shot impressed us with a great
mix of show planes and trainers then, some serious firepower
both classic and modern.

Contest Winner - October 2011
Hal, California
Hal overcomes the highest hurdle:
"My wife asked one of
her artist friends how to improve the looks of her crystal
display in our living room. I thought this was the perfect
opportunity to replace the crystal with my collection and I
took a shot. I brought down some of my more colorful models
and arranged them in the display case. My wife's friend was
smitten by the artistry of the models and the swap out became
a done deal."
We agree with your wife and her friend - a
great mix, elegantly done.

Daniel, Canada
Daniel shows us how to smartly mix, aircraft types and
model scales, with crests, plaques, and the national insignia
of Canada and display it all on an old Radio Shack store
showcase. Nicely done!
